ENGLISH PARK.

TO-NIGHT'S CYCLING MEETING. The cycle racing track at English Park will "be usad to-night for the first time under' artificial light. The special floodlights which have been installed round the track provide splendid illumination, mating the . whole of the course as "light as day." The Mayor of Christchurch will declare the track open at 7.45 p.m., after the contesting cyclists have paraded before _ tho spectators. Subsequently a full and interesting programme of track races witl be staged, and these should prove of exceptional interest, as the competitors include some of the Dominion's best riders.
