PREMATURE REVOLT.
REVOLUTIONISTS TRICKED. (BT CABLX—PBRB3 ASSOCUTIOK— COPnUCSJCT) (Brents's TKLXCBAXS.) LONDON, November 10. Benter's Paris correspondent says that a self-styled Spanish agitator, writing in *'Le Matin," says: "Spanish emigres on the frontier, awaiting the outbreak of the revolutionary movement, were tricked into prematurely crossing the frontier by a decoy message purporting to emanate from their confederates, but really emanating from the Directory's police. ''
"Le Matin" also asserts that revolutionaries in Barcelona awaiting a signal from their comrades in Madrid became impatient when it was known that exiles were concentrating on the frontier. "They surged into the streets and started fighting, which developed into a regular battle on Friday night.
Two men accused at Barcelona of participating in a collision with the police on Thursday night, in which one policeman was killed and one wounded, wero court-martialled on Saturday and executed during the morning.
MOROCCAN CAMPAIGN.
MENACING POSSIBILITIES. ("the tiisib.") LONDON, November 10. Tho Tangier correspondent of "The Times" says tho possibility of a French campaign in Morocco is foreshadowed by Marshal Lyantey, French Resident-General. He stated that the French Government had given him an assurance that all necessary troopa and material would be placed at his, disposal to drive baclc tho Riffs and other tribesmen, who had taken up strong positions in French Protectorate territory, if it. were considered that tho ' situation necessitated military action. He would avoid a campaign if possible, but if compelled to attack ho would do so with a forco adequate to drive tho invaders back to the Spanish zono. Tho situation in Spanish Morocco -was full of menacing possibilities, and only by close Franco-British co-operation could the increasing danger be avoided. Spain could count on the moral support of both Franco and England in the difficult task of ending anarchy in the Spanish Zone.
