OFFICERS' CLUB.
SMOKE CONCERT. Members of the Canterbury Officers' Club held their Armistice night smoke concert in the Clubrooms last evening. There was an attendance of 80 -officers, and tho function proved a great success. The toast list was as follows: —"The ' King-," proposed by tlie vice-president; "Absent Comrades," proposed by Lieut. S. G. Bowron; "Army, Navy and Air Force," proposed by Col. Hulbert, replied to by Eng. Lieut. Furby, R.N.R. (KavyV; Colonel Symon (Army); Captain leitt OAir Force); "The Visitons," proposed ,by Major Gresson, responded to by Lieut.-Colonel ' Steveneou (Auckland); "The Old Brigade," '"proposed by Major W. E: S.: Furby and responded ,to by Colonel CreswelL ■ Items were contributed as follows:—Recitations, Major T. M." Charters, Lieut. A. Owen, Messrs A.' Dey, L. A. Cookson, and Colonel E. J, Hulbert; eongs, Messrs D. Bishop and H. 8. Hobhs.
