' .. 965 1187 Marriages .. ..832 934 Marriages by Registrar 162 206 The number of deaths this year so far shows a decrease of 222, as compared with the same period last year. Tho greater number of deaths in 192S was due to the mild epidemic of-in-fluenza experienced. The number ot births this year so far shows aHyhfcl crease of 106 over the number recorder; in the same period in 1923. la boty, tables tho figures relating to "Mar«* riages by Registrar" arc included in those relating to marriages.
