WEASELS.
TO THE EDITOR OF "'THE TEESS." Sir,—Mr Stead .is apparently . a misapprehension when ho says that "weasels seldom, ■if ever, attack ra.bbits." Mo6t farmers who have had any experience of rabbits and weasels, will agree that tho weasel constitutes one of tlie rabbit's deadliest enemies. I. knew of a certain block of country where weasels play a very big part every year in destroying rabbits. I have often seen, in broad daylight, a. weasel catch and kill a rabbit ajid drag it down the hill. —Yours, etc., STANLEY S. MIDDLETON. Sumner, October 30th.
