SANITARY INSPECTORS' ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Canterbury Centre of the ,New Zealand Sanitary Inspectors' Association was hold on Thursday evening, Mr J. T. Caldow presiding over a fairly large attendance. An address was given by Mr James Cullens, the Qjriatchurcli Drainage Board's engineer, on inc extension cyr me Chnstchurcn sewerage scneme at present in hand. Mr Cullens dealt' with tne matter from an engineering point of view and gave an interesting description of the details of the scheme. At the conclusion of the address Mr Cullens was accorded by acclamation a very hearty vote of thanks for his instructive remarks.
