PROPOSALS APPROVED
(PMSS ASSOCIATIOK TXLXG*AX.) AUCKLAND, October 29. The ratepayers of Newmarket, by 270 votes to 71, carried a proposal to borrow £16,500 for concreting several streets of the borough.
