CONTROL BILL INTRODUCED.

A Honey ExpcTt Control Bill, which has been asked for l>y honey exporters, has been introduced in the House or Representatives. It is on the lines of the Fruit and Dairy Control Bills. It provides for the appointment of a Board of Control, one member appointed by the Government, and two producers' representatives on election. There, are the usual provisions for election and term of office. The Board in empowered to asssimc control of all honey intended for export, and may determine the extent to which it is necessary, for the effective operation of the'Aet and tiie fulfilment of its purposes, that it should exercise control over the export of, any honey. The control m;i.y be ai«olute or limited—honey over which the Board assumes absolute control sliall be graded, packed and shipped as the Board directs, and shall I*? sold and disposed of only by tlie Board or Ky Wm- direction of-'the'Board at such times, in such manner Mid on such term.* as the Board in its discretion determines.
