Our London correspondent, writing on September 24th, mentions that the films of New Zealand which are being shown in the centres where the NewZealand footballers are playing are proving a verv nopular success. There are 30,000 ft of New Zealand film at Wembley, and generally 2000 ft are shown in connexion with the football fixtures. This allows about half an hour for the New Zealand "turn," and is the time allotted for Ecis particular section. The picture theatre managers have discouraged the idea of a lecturer accompanying the films, because they sav that the public prefer to havtmusic In some of the larger centres, such as Belfast and Newcastle, two sets of films will be required to run simultaneously at different houses. Some other centres have asked for the film to be shown several days before the team, arrives for play, and there are cases whew the pictures will run for a week. The New Zealand flag ami others flags for decorative purposes are sent, if requested.
