"Beyond tho "Rainbow," a. mastcrpieco from tho Masterpicture studios, features the charming Lilian "Billie" Hove and the stalwart Edward Mallory, whose acting in this film surpasses anything previously attempted by either of them'. "Tho PilgTim." a Charlie _ Chaplin picture, is another attraction. Mention must also b:> made of the excellent playing of the orchestra, "under Miss Agnes Shearsby. LIBERTY THEATRE. No fault could bo found by the most fastidious with tho present programme at tho Liberty Theatre. "Potash and Perlmutter," tho latest First National drama, which is the film version of the famous stage play and book of the same name, heads the current programme, of motion pictures, and it is quite safe to declare that no more magnificently monnted or lavishly designed production has been seen in Christchurch ior many months. "Are Yon a Failure?" is the entrancing story of a young man mollycoddled by two maiden aunts, who, how■ever,, proves that all his associates made' a huge mistake in considering him a "dud." M. Hyman, from Paris, gives an entertaining exposition of "Jazz Up-to-date-." ! EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. An excellent hill is presented this week at. Everybody's Theatre. Tho Charles Jonesfeature, "Hell's' Hole," is a remarkable fantasy, in which romance, deeds of daring, thrills, adventure, and episodes of prison life hold one almost; spellbound for an hour. Tho second feature is "A Prince of a King,'' and thoro is also the playing of tho Select Orchestra, under the baton of Mr W. J. Bellingh.tm.. ..'
