ST. PATRICK'S SPORTS ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of tho St. Patriok's Sports Association was held in the Hibernian Mall last evening, tho president, Mr B. J. ivioKeuna, presiding- over a largo attendance. The programme for the coming mooting on March 11th and loth was approved, thechief events being 135 yds bt. Patrick's Sheffield Handicap, oi ±IOO, and Dariieid HiDeruian Cup, and three miles St. Patrick's Wheel Race, of £7O. The Advertising Committee reported that they had met with very encouraging .support, and it was decided to further canvass, ior advertisements. Messrs J. Samuels and F. O'Connell were elected vico-presidenta, and the following wero added to the momborsnip list of tho Association,; H. Luxton, J. W. Blanchard, and H. Doherty. Tho following officials wero appointed for th o coming meeting:—Superintendent, Mr Tj. J. MoKerma; deputy-superintendent, Mr C. H. Taylor, sen.; chief consul, Mr W. J. Walter; referee, Mr J. Kennedy; .handicappers, amateur events, Mr R. Beattie; professional events, Mr S. H. Cox; clerk of course, Mr J. S. Tuiloch; handicappers, cycling, Messrs W. J. Walter and P. C.
