ACROSS IN SIX DAYS. (BY CABLE —KSEBS ASSOCIATION corißicirrO (AtTSTBALIAH AND H.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) . PARIS, February 4. The trans-Sahara record was eclipsed by three Renault motor-cars, .which covered, tho same route in six days. The cars, fitted with six ordinary wheels coupled in pairs, averaged two hundred miles per day. ' The worst- feature of the journey was the enormous differences, in the temperature, which averaged 45 degrees centigrade in the daytime, sinking to freezing point at night. [lt was announced yesterday morning that three Citroen motor-cars, fitted with caterpillar wheels, had crossed the great desert in seven days.]
