The shooting by cadets for the "Weekly Press" Challenge Shields resulted in, the Southland Boys' High School Cadets, with an average score of 67.4, carrying off the South Island Shield and the Thames High School Cadety the North Island Shield, with an average score of 67.1. Other scores were: Average ; , Score New Plymouth High School ... 67.0 Nelson College A Team ... 66.5 New Plymouth Technical College 66.3 Wellington College ... 65-9 The average of the others was high, the lowest being C Coy., Ofcago Cadets, 61. ■ _„_________
