At the Middlesex tennis championships, in the semi-final o£ the Doubles, iiyoett and Andexsoa beat Barclay and Kitchie, 8-6, 6-1. In the final Lycett and Anderson beat Doust and Gilbert, 6-3, 6-8, 6-2, 6-4. In the semi-finals of the faingleo Gilbert beat Mushu, 6-3, 3-1 retired, and Lycett beat Barclay, 6-4, 6-3. In the final lyoett t*eat -Gilbert, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2. Mrs Peacock beat Mira Beamish, 6-1, 1-6, 6-2. In the final of the Ladies Doubles Mrs Lambert Chamlers and Miss Eyan beat Mrs Beamish and Mrs Peacock, 6-2, 6-1.
Lycett and Miss Eyan beat Gilbert and Mrs Peacock in the Mixed Doubles, 7-5, 6-1. Horn, the Cambridge captain, played a great game against Patterson. The latter won 2-6, 6-2, 11-9.
