An old-fashioned holes and rim round the edge, has been extricated from the left ear of Mr Falkner, a retired civil service official residing at Deal. Falkner, who is 78, has complained for years past of pain in the ear. Whilst eating, the button suddenly became dislodged, and fell out. He has not the remotest idea how such a thing got into his head, but thinks it must nave trot there somehow when he was an infant.
