NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
At the Durham street Methodist Church to-morrow the Rev. W. Heady will preach morning and evening. Mr J. W. K. Mcintosh, blind soldier, will read the lesson at the evening service. At the conclusion of the service a specisl recital of facred music will be given under the direction of Mr Ernest Firth, F.R.C.0., who will play a solo. Madame Claris Holgate will sing "Angela Ever Bright and Fair" and "The Lord is My Light." Mr W. J. Hudson wil sing "Total Eclipse." Quartets will bo given by Mrs E. Firth, Miss Twose, Messrs H. Bla*ke!ey, and W. J. Spratt. Mr Mcintosh will recite "The Blind Man's 'lf'." A retiring collection will be taken on behalf of the appeal for the blind. The monthly of the ChriptclmrcJi British-Israel Association will be held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms, on Tuesday, at 7.45 p.m. An address will be given by Mr D. N. Adams, on "Thi Signs of the Zodiac." The services at Weslev Church, Fitzgerald avenue, to-morrow, will be taken, by the Rev. E. D. Patchett, who will take for his subjects, "The Last Nature Stud> of Jesus" in the morning, and "The HTgher Wages of Life" in the evening. The choir will sing the anthem, "God is a, Spirit," at the evening service To-morrow evening Community Singing will be continued at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. The hymns will be on the Holy Spirit. Owing to the welcome home to the Primate and Archbishop of New Zealand having been fixed for Tuesday next, the social in connexion with St. James's, Riocarton, has been postponed till the 14th instant.
