BHIPPINO NOTES.
The Cygnet is due baok this morning from Motueka and' Nelson. She ia to sail on Monday for Kaikoura and Wellington. The steamers Calm and Holmdale both arrived from Timaru yesterday morning, and both sailed laat night for Wellington end Wanganui. The Wootton is due on Tuesday from Wel-ding-ton, and will sail on. Wednesday on, the return trip. _ The Progress arrived yesterday morning, and after taking in cargo, is to sail on Monday for Wellington, Picton, and Greymouth. The John, which arrived from Wellington late on Thursday night, saHed* yesterday afternoon for Dunedin. She is due baok here on Wednesday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kini arrived yesterday morning from Timaru, and is to sail on Monday afternoon for Napier and Gisbome. The Orepuki is now timed to Bail for Greymouth direct on Wednesday. The Kennedy is to load next Thursday for Foxton direct. The Wakatu will complete her overhaul <fa Monday, when an endeavour will be mad* to sign on a crew. The former crew recently gave notice and' signed off the vessel owing l to a dispute in regard to the manning of the steamer. The Baden Powell was expected to arrive from New Plymouth last night, but did not do so, having- evidently been delayed by stormy weather conditions. She ia to sail on Monday for Wellington and; New Plymouth. The Wingatui is now due from Timaru on Wednesday to load for Auckland, via Wellington. The Katnona- is now to leave Greymouth on Monday in place of the Kamo. She is due here on Wednesday. The Storm will load at Timarn on Monday and at Lyttelton on Tuesday for Wellington and Wanganui. The Hauraki left San Francisco at midI night on Monday last for Wellington. She is expected there on the 21st June,. and will i later proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney.
