W.E.A. ACTIVITIES.
A report reoeived by Mr Geo. Manning, secretary of the W.E.A., states that the W.E.A. music class in Eeeiton ia doing well; there are thirty-live, names on the roll. "An Evening with Elgiir" is to be given at tho Trades Hall on the 24th inst. by Mr Sydney Butler, L.R.A.M., who will be assisted by Mies Midicent Jennings, and Mr Chanes and otirara. belectiona from Eltfftrs great work, "I'he Dream oi Gerontiua," me to be given. Professor J. Shodey Las returned from tho Wast Coast, and on tuesday evening reeumwi hia class on psychology. While on. the Coast, after the close of the winter Gchool at Hokuika, Processor Shelley lectured on behalf cf the W.E.A. at Hunanga, Keefton, and Greymouth.
