PRIME MINISTER IN THE SOUTH. (FKESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) D'UXEMN, May 31. The Prime Minister bad a particularly bitsy time this forenoon receiving deputations, In tho afternoon ike opened a new infant department at the NorthEast Valley School, and in the evening attended a Masonic function. He leaves for Invercargill to-morrow morning, and proceeds to Otautau, where he will unveil a soldiers' memorial ill the afternoon. In the evening he delivers a policy speech at Invercargill. Sir "William Fraeer, who opened the Beekeepers' Conference to-day, ■-will accompany Mr Massey to Invercargill. l'he Hon. W. D.wnie Stewart leaves for Christchurch to-morrow morning, and the Hon. E. P. Leo goes to Oamaru in the morning.
