ALLEGED FORGERY.
AUSTRALIANS ARRESTED IN U.S.A. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.} (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) WASHINGTON, March 30. The Slate Department is awaiting consular reports concerning the arrests in New Orleans of Eric Harold McBride and Maggie Mcßride at the request cf the Australian Government on charges of forging stpek transfers in Melbourne. On receipt of the reports Mr C. E. Hughes will decide whether the pair can be extradited.
