Steps are being taken to form a Country Party in consequence of the disposition of the Premier, Sir Walter Lee, to enact legislation of a Labour character without consulting the country members. QUEENSLAND JUDGES RETIRE. (Received March 31st, 10.55 p.m.) BRISBANE, March 31. In accordance with the recent Act, the Chief Justice, Sir Pop© A. Cooper, Mr Justice Real, and Mr Justice Chubb have retired, having reached the retiring age fixed by the Statute.
