The Grand Lodge of Scotland report some interesting additions to their Grand Lodge Library and Museum. They include a bronzo medallion issued by Fredericksburgh Lodge, Virginia, U.S.A., recording tho initiation of George "Washington; a facsimile of a letter sent by Kobert Burns to St. James's Lod"e, Tarbolton, dated August 23, 17t>7 ; a sketch of Lodge Tarbolton, Kilwinning No. 135, of which Burns was a founder; a photograph of an exc-erpt from the minutes of the lodge of Edinburgh (St. Mary s Chapel), No. 1, dated October 12th, 1870. referring to the affiliation of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (Edward VII.) : together with a leather case from Colonel James IX McLachlaii containing several of the original bar prints issued at Paris between 173-5 and 1740, a very, valuable set.
