THE SANDERS CUP.
A letter was received from tho McCulloch Presentation Committee by the Otago Hockey Association on Wednesday night forwarding a subscription list and soliciting active support for Mr "W. J. P. McOulloch and his crew. Subscription# wore asked for amounts of Is. Tie chairman, Mr J. A. Park, remarked that he did not think that either Bide in tho controversy ha# sbowa exactly a 6portmg spirit. Tiiero was a personal element in it that was dangerous to e'ean eport. The letter was received, and the list left to the consideration of individual members. The "Otago Daily Times" _&ays Mr Park's remarks met with, the evident approval of tho meeting.
