A dramatic platform murder, in the presence of 1200 persons, was committed in the Philharmonic Hall- Mr. Miliukoff, leader of the Russian Cadet Party, was speaking, when two Russian -Monarchists commenced firing from the front row of the stalls. There was an instant panic. His friends on the platform tried to protect M. Miliukoff. Others dashed down and seized his assailants. M. jN'abokoff, an ex-member of the Supreme Court, was shot through interposing his body t 0 have M. Miliukon. Sis others were wounded.
