SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.
Very tuccossful anniversary services were held on Sunday last in connexion with the Methodiit Sunday School at East Selt. The church had been beautiiuljy decorated for tne occasion, and, with too scuoiara grouped eroundi in the choir seats and gahenes, made a very pretty picture. Quito a leature ot tna services was> the winding of the scholars, who \sero heard tQ great advantage iu a choice ejection of children's hymns. Mr J. Sn«ms was in» charge of the musical and Mr Biic Rickaids presided at the organ. Ihe congregations were large at all three services. Appiopriate sermons weie preached by the Bevs. C. H. Olds, Percy taxis, and K. D. Patchett. On the Monday the children were entertained at their tea, and later entertained a \ery''large audience, that quite filled the schoolroom, with a capital programme of action sings, recitations, etc. h<*r this programme they had jDeen e'inciently trained by Miss Wilson ancl Miss Hooper. The superintendent (Mr M. Kershaw) and tlio stall were thanked for their splendid services during the year.
