The establishment of a confederation of British-American countries, to include all the British colonies of the Bahamas, Barbadoes, Bermuda, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad, the Windward Islands, and possibly British Guiana, is reported l here to be under consideration/
British Dominions and possessions in North, South, and Central America to be united into a Commonwealth of British America is the latest development of the ifaion begun by the* Canadian Confederation in 1867.
Representatives of the British possessions in America attended a conference in Ottawa lasKyoar, when the trade agreement between Canada and the Wosfc Indies was made. It is planned to convert this agreement into a political union.
