PARISHIONERS' MEETINGS. ST. JAMES'S, SOUTHBEIDGE. The Rev. H. Of. Hawkins presided over the annual meeting of parishioners of St. James's, Southbridge, and there wa3 a good attendance. Several working bees had been held to put the church grounds in order, and the report appealed for a better attendance at working bets this year. Inference was made to the highly satisfactory condition of tie Church finances, to ;lie Ooath of Mrs Willis, and to the work of the Sane-; tuary Guild, the services of the choir, organist, Sunday School teachers, honorary bellringer and lamplighter, anditor, and treasurer. The vicar nominated Mr A. Greenwood as Bishop's warden, and Mr Greenwood agree;} to accept. Mr R. B. B. "Willis was unanimously re-elected people's wai-Jen. The following were elected a Vestry:—Messrs W. Scott, R. Rowe, J. S. McClelland, J. C. Free, A. J. Jnwood, A. J. Beuiusley, G. McCaw, J. S. Inwood, E. Fell, A. C. Greenwood, G. G. Hemhaw, F. P. Sivertsen, W. G. Wroot; hon. treasurer, Mr W. Scott; auditor, Mr A. Wearers. It was agreed that the stipend guarantee be made the same as last year. Appreciative references were made to the work of the honorary bellringer, Mr Rowe, who was voted £3.
