MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
-KAKAIA CLUB. Throngto the kindness of Mr A. F. Kenaett fie Rakaia Miniature Bine' Club has again received the u.*e of a shop windowwherein to exhibit their trophies. The latest donors are- Mr B. MoNnmara, Mr W. R.' Dunftan, Mr E. Fox, Mr A. F. Kenvtt, Mr W. Holmes, and Messrs 7. Ballantyne and Co. At the weekly shoot on Tuesday evening tbore was an increased attendance, and some good Ecores were registered. . For Mr fi. Pearce-'s trophy C. Jessop (scratch) and W. J. Lee (handicap 1) tiod with total vores of 69. In the shoot-off the former won. Tho second man receives the.club trophy, value 10s 6d. Scores of 68 were made by H. Croinie. and G. Cromie from scratch. The club Hotty Button was won by "W. J. Lee, who put on the possible. Arrangements have now been made 'so that the club members may have t!>& use of part of the big hall on shooting nights for etc
