EXCLUSION OF JAPANESE.
A CAIJTOBNTAN CAMPAIGN.

McClatchy, representing the Japanese Exclusion League of Califonia, appeared before the House Immigration Committee and urged the absolute exclusion of all Japanese immigration; also the withholding of American citizenship from all members of tha yellow race. Mr McClatchy* protested against naturalised Japanese being stewards aboard American warships, declaring that under Japanese law they remain; Japanese subjects, and in the event of war would be traitors to the ■'-U-nifcod States. He charged Japan with engineering the sugar strike at Hawaii as part of a plan to force the right of land ownership; by Japanese there.
