MACKENZIE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Mackenzie Football Club was held on Saturday evening The report and balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of £ll 12s 7d, were adopted. The. following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr G. W. Forbes, M.P.; president, Mr L. B. Bradstock; rice-presidents, Messrs D. McLaren, J. Moir, G. l'ruman, S.. C. Smith, TV. PeHrie, J. It was decided to play <a practice. match with Domett on Saturday, and to recommend to the Management Committee that competition matches start on Saturday! April 30th.
INTER-ISLAND MATCH. In view of the South African tour this year, it is suggested by the Management Committee of the New inland Rugby Onion that the inter-Island fixture ithis season b» played early in Juno, so as to give selectors an opportunity to select the New Zealand representative iteam for the first Test Match against the "Springboks."
