For Photographs The Weekly Press and Referee Closing May 31,1921 Fifty-three Prizes Open to Amateurs-and Professionals "fTHE WEEKLY PRESS AND x KEFEHEE," desiring to enr courage its many contributors of photographs, has decided to renew its Photographic Competitions, and now offers FIFTY POUNDS in PHIZES for the most attractive • PHOTOGRAPHS sent in by MAY 31st, under tho following CONDITIONS. (1) The subject may be anything the competitor chooses: Man. ■woman", or child, Maori or European, still life or action, town or country, interiors or exteriors, lire stock or wild life, landscape or seascape, farm life, bush ljfc, town life, or sea life, work or play—whatever interests the competitor enough to make him photograph it. The novelty, beauty, and interest for the public of the photograph will bo the qualities considered in awarding the prizes. (2) Every photograph eent in must have been taken ju New Zealand or its dependencies. Photographs * previously published arc not eligible for this Competition. (3) Competitors may • eend as many photographs as they like. The Competition -will CLOSE on MAY • 31st NEXT, but competitors are advised to despatch their packets as soon as they are complete. (4) The Editor's decision shall be final. (5) Prize-winning photographs become tho property of the Christchurch Press-Company, with right to use in any of its publications, copyright remaining with the photo* graphers. - (6) The £SO will be divided into 53 prizes, as under:— First ...
