SCHOOL HEATING FUND. At the meeting of householders at the Lyttelton Dietrict High School on Monday eyoning, a report from the outgoing committee on tho heating fund was Tead, The eiim of £250 was deposited in the Savings Bank for tho project. It would be necessary to Taiso another £SO before applying- for the Govern* ment subsidy. The Education Board would also assist to the extent of £l5O. It was decided that the work of raising tho £SO should' oommence at once, and ono of the newly-elected committeemen, Mr D. Grubb, handed to the gecrelary of the committee: a cheque for £lO.
