FIRES.
(tjess association telegram.) WOODVILLE, April 18. By a fire early on buuday the shops of McCullagh (cabinetmaker) and Gibson (bootmaker) were guueU. Nothing •was saved. Tho premises of Chant (draper) and Coulter (hairdresser) suffered damage. Splendid work was done "by the brigade. A good -water supply prevented a disastrous fire. The building was owned bv Mr R. H. Rhodes. Tho insurance* on tho building were £4OO, and on tha stock £3OO.
