' The Phillipstown Tent,-1.0.E., celebrated its eleventh anniversary on Thursday evening) ia the Hastings street Hall, Sydenham, when a most enjoyable and successful social was held. About 100 people were present. Games and items occupied moat of the evening, u iters which refreshments were handed round. The following contributed towards a most enjoyable programme:—Misses Daviee, Ford, "Williams, Worm old, Sister E. M. Banger, Mr Skelton, Bros. Bodda and F. A. Judkins. The secretary, Bro.A. Martin, read the annual report, which waa very satisfactory. < The financial statement showed that all sick claims had been paid from interest received from moneys invested. Bio. F. A. Judkina acted ae'cliairman and pianist.
