the bagecoubsb incident, v • . v Mr W. W. McKinney, Assistant-Com-missioner, St. John Ambulance Brigade, has the following letter to the chairman of the Canterbury Jockey Club: — . "Witli regard to the ambulance arraigements criticised at your re&nt meeting, I would be glad dub would, in fairaeas " not only to the omcera and men of this Brigade concerned, but also to others, hold an. enquiry mto the matter. Tbe alleged neglect has been bo well advertised: that we would welcome an open enquiry, tod leave the filial-decision to your club, but ask that' it b« open to the- Press^ so that all the facts of ; ibe case may be made •known to the public."
