MILITARY TRAINING.
TRANSFERENCE OF SENIOR CADETS TO TERRITORIALS.
The annual posting of all Senior Cadets whb attain the age of 18 this icar, with the exception of thoße who are still attending secondary schools, will be made during- the month of May. At the parades of tho different companies, next week, all the boys in this class will be put through a severe medical examination, as it is only desired that those who are medically fit and sound should be "posted to the Territorials. At the same time as these parades for medical cxamina<- , tion, all those who attend wilil be given an opportunity to say which branch of the Territorial service they would prefer to serve in, and, ae far as possible, taking into consideration the requiremerats;,of tho service, they will he posted accordingly. All Cadets who fail to attend the medical examination parades will be treated as "fit," and posted to the Territorials to whichever "branch requires them. It as therefore to the advantage of the Senior Cadets, including tho?? attending night schools, to make a special effort to be present at one of these parades. , * Training will be carried on unt.fl May 14th, hut those Cadets who come in the cla?9 for
"posting" to the' Territorials will he medically examined only at undermentioned parades. Parades ordered are as under:—Monday night companies will be examined April 18th, 'Wednesday night companies will bo examined April 20th, Thursday night companies will be examined April 21st. There will be in addition, on Thursday, April 28th, a special medical examination f-ara'Jn for "casuals," and those who are unavoidably detained from previous and also for cadets drilling at Belfast and Ricarton.
