MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
At the annual meeting of the Cashmoro Miniature ItotV Club there waa a. large attendance of members. The report Btated that the club entered a team in tho Christoluircli Miniature Wine Association's winter tournament, and though, not successful in winning the championship, it won a majority of the matches fired. A team'WM also on-. tercd at the Championship Meeting, and was successful in wiuninjr place money. Tho following officera were elected:— President, Mr G. T. Booth; vice-presidents, Messrs J. McLean, G. M. Hall, H. E. Pappriil, G. K. Way, E. Peek, and P. Robinson; Hub contain, Mr C. 1?. Walker; hon. eewitary and treasurer, Mr I!. Neill; committee, Messrs A. .1. : evblUge, J. Diack, AV. J. Gabb, and AV. Harman. rakaSTclxib. The second shoot of the Rakai* Miniature Kino' Ciub took place on Tuesday ovening, when a sweepatako was, decided. The winner was W. E. Judkin», handicap 1, with a. total score of 70, G. Cromio, scratch, being runner-up with C 9. The club trophy for tho best oggregato in the first two. shoots was won by AV. E. -Tudltina wjth IS7, G. Cromio neiii;* second with 331. A "match waft fired between frcams chosen 'hv the. captain and vice-captain respectively, and tho former's teum won. Messrs C. Coney, L. Harrison, and A. •Harrison, oi none were present as n deputation from ihat district to enquire into tho Ciub' working, with a view to cMnblishing- »• club at .Unrie. It is'hoped that. mo:i the now club will !)•> working, and inierclub matches be arranged. At :i meeting' of tit© committee of the Jlakaia Club hekl on AVodnesday evening Mr A A. Oliver presided.
