The Republican leaders have decided to merge the Emergency Tariff and Anti-Dumping Bills, including a Bill prohibiting the recognition of more than 66 2-3 rd« per cent depreciation on foreign currency in terms of dollars, for import value appraisals. Thus, German, Austrian, and other low currencies will have their value increased for tariff valuation purposes.
