Mr F C. Renyard, 8.A., first special assistant at *h e Feijding High School, has been selected from thirty-eight applicants to be director of the Masterton Technical School. The position carriea a salary of £SOO per year. Jlr Peter Barr haa been appointed chairman of the Appeal Boards in connexion with the grading of 'secondary and technical school teachers, • and Mr T B. Strong haa been appointed the representative of tho Education Department on these Boards, • The following Judges of tho Supreme Court are appointed members of the first division of the Court of Appeal : Mr Justice Sim, Mr Justice Hosking, jfr Justice Stringer. Mr Justice Reed, and Mr Justice. Adams. The following are appointed members of the second S vision:—Mr Justice Sim, Mr Justico osking, Mr Justice Stringer, Mr Jubtfee Herdman, and Mr Justico Salmond.
