WELLINGTON, April 14, The gross revenue received by 1b various receivers of land revonuo for tf» financial year ended March 31st, 'fH> £1,734,147. This amount shows a rttf substantial increase over previous $W* and exceeds tiio 1920 figures by kti&f '705. For the past six years receipt* have been as follow:—1916, £1,286,881 j 1917, £1,241,366; 1918, £1,212,80! 1919, £1,246,815; 1920, £1,452,88} 1921, £1,735,147. The increase is due principally, stlfa* the Hon. 1). H. Guthrie, to tho MM*; oxtensiro purchase and settlement rf/ lands. The gross receipts for the year u«fer tho Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Jc* amounted to £1,229,492. making ti» total sum received bv the Depart**** last year £2,963,639.'
