ST. ALBANS YOUNG MEN'S GUILD.
The • twenty-ninth annual meeting of the St Albans Young Men's Guild wee held„on Tuesday, Mr J. W H. Francis presiding. The balance-sheet showed the receipts to haw been £368 tot lid, and the expenditure £309 8a 4d, leaving a credit balance of £SB 12s Td. "in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the president commented on the excellent bahnoe to credit. Another gratifying point was the steady progress of the, Library during the year. Amendments to the rules were adopted, the most important being a change in the name to "St. Albans Recreation Club." The election of offibcrs resulted as follows: —President, Mr J. W. H. Francis (re-elect-ed) ■ vice-pverdents, Measrs J. W. Beanland, W. T. Bunt, R. B. Bunt, C. W. Colville, J. D. Colville, P. L. Davies, W. J. Dangerfield, J N. Ihi Feu, 0. Hall, C. Spicer, and W. Shaw; secretary, Mr C J M Winter; treasurer, Mr P. E.-Winter; librarian. Mr G. T. Hilh'Jon; assistant librarian, Mr R. Winter; executive committee, Messrs J. Colville, jun., L Gapes, T. Butterfield, K. Barr, G. Hilladon E. Ridder, and R. Winter; auditors, M«»rs H. E. Powell and E. Ridder; delegate to Sports Protection Assoeaition, Mr 'A. Neate. The prizes won during the year were distributed.
