He spoke strongly of the need for further encouragement of the game in the schools, and suggested that free sticks, ehould be proS-ided and players fcskfed to coach tho school" teams. . 4 , It Was decided to make titi effort to provide ' &r> sticJcs as euagestbd, 'and to ask •clubs, to supply the coaches. The Grounds Committee reported that the ; grounds would bo in order for the matched next .Saturday. Mesjsra Smith, Bishop, and Warburton were appointed to draw up a scheme for holding) tho usual fivo-a«s:de tournament, and to report at next meeting. The sum of J22 2s was voted to the Hockey Referees' Association. ■ ; It was decided to place on Tecord tho Association's appreciation of the fcrvices ren«tc»d to hockey by Mr It.
