The second animal meeting of 'he Osiord Fueturned Soldiers" Club was held in", the .Coronation Hall. The baUance-sheet showed a good credit balance. Mr K. D, Henderson, vioe-presidmt of the: Committee, in,outlining (the past year's pro-, gramme, stated that the club had been- very successful,, although it had not carried out all its programme'. Parish, on behalf of Messrs Parish Bios., invited the club to hold a rabbit drive on tfcir property at Burnt Hill, and promised to give £2. towards the expenses. The club accepting the invitation with thanks. It was decided ithai tk* drive, which would be confined to dogs and > sticks,' should commence at Burnt Hill at 11.30 on April ICti, the club tota-fce up a collection to help to defray the cost of the luncheon which will be provided. : It was decided to hold-a smoke concert for financial members on' April 16th. A lengthy discission look place on the advisability of putting up club rooms. It was decided that thismatter, also the question of financial aid to si'.-k members, should, be left in. abeyance.
