THE COMMONWEALTH.
• « SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTIONS. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) • (Received April 10th, 5.5 p»o.) ADELAIDE, April 10. Polling was. heavy in the State general election owing to the fact that there were four parties in the field in addition to Independents. Leaders of parties fear much vote-splitting, particularly as the Prohibition issue has obtruded" itself. The counting of votes is so slow that at present no indication is possible as to the state of parties, but it practically is certain that all the Ministers are safe. The Premier is sanguine of victory. jti •
