GIRLS' FRIENDLY SOCIETY HOSTEL.

TO THE EDITOR OF "THK TRESS.''

Sir,—l should like lo emphasiso two things !n regard to the Girl? Friendly bocictv Hostel. Firstly, it is not intended primarily for students, for wham another hostel is provided at Bishopscourt. Sec6ndly, as its very name shows, it is not" intended for a home for elderly people. Wr want it to be a happy home for all well-conducted girls (either G.F.S. members or l>e,longing to tho Anglican Church), where they can live at very moderate expense, and feel they have a friend in tlio matron. It is a curious fact that complaints are generally made through anonymous letters. —Yours, etc., ELEANOR M.; BULLER. The Vicarn"i>, New Brighton, April Bth.
