The Persian Minister submitted -o the State Department a statement of the policv of the new Persian Government, which includes the abrogation ot tho Anglo-Persian Treaty and the evacuation of all foreign troop* from Persii. Tho Government's programme also includes the reorganisation of the army, the dissolution of the Courts, the establishment of justice on a more solid basis, tho partition of Government lanus amongst the peasants, the revision o» certain concessions, and an invitation tu foreign advisers to organise the country It is believed that diis policy will hasten America's decision on the question of tho recognition of the Persian Government, and that the United States will champion anew the cause o: Persian independence.
