SLOT TELEPHONE FOR BRYNDWR.

TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." Sir, —Now the ratepayers of Bryndwr hare decided in favour of the tram extension, I would suggest that the same committee who were so successful with the extension should now exert themselves to get a slot telephone for Bryndwr. In case of sickness or anything urgent there is no 'phone in the district. The most central place, with land opening up all round, is the corner of Idris and "Wairarapa roads, by the post box. This is also a polling place.—l am, etc., RATEPAYER.
