Saviour's Orphanage bo granted free tuition in the elementary cookery classes this' year; and (3) that Miss E. V. Dowding be appointed instructress in physical culture foi three months on trial ~.,,. ' The director, in his report, said ,that since the last .meeting additional. evening had been formed in English, shorthand, typewriting, woodwork, and French, in order, to keep the roll number of the existing classes within satisfactory limits. It would probably b> found that, wtien a further class in fitting «nd turning had been arranged, the evening classes would all be well provided for. Very satisfactory work was being done by the students of the agricultural class, and interesting mannrial tests with potatoes* were bomg made while tests with sugar-beet were also being' carried out. The gardens generally at the hostel had given' very satisfactory returns, and had provided large quantities of potatoes and other vegetables for use at the iostel and in the College kitchens. The report concluded with a resume of the successful season experienced by the College in athletics. All tho reports were adopted.
