POET LEVY REGATTA.
Annually, at Easter-time, the cruising' pleasure-boats, both motor and sail, from. New Brighton, Redcliffs, and Ljttelton, assemble, at Port Levy, where an informal regatta is held on.Easter Monday. Last year over 1000 people went to Port Levy for theday to witness the. regatta, but this year no excursion steamers were put on, and only the crews, with the Port Levy residents, were present. The .day proved most enjoyable, and the usual programme of events was put on, Mr H. Mcintosh being- the leading official. The events resulted: Sailing Race—Omega 1, Alma 2, Swallqw 3. Launch Race, for boats up to a speed of 6 miles—Stormbird 1, "Waimairi 2, Navua 3. Launch. Bace, for. ■boats over 6 .miles— Akarama 1, Pastime 2. Amuri 3. Rowing Race—D. (/rant J. • Sculling Race—F. Pigeon 1.
