Hannan states that the original date fixed was May oth, the day before tho Marlborough rates. He will ouggent holding to that <la,io, but, if it is unsuitable, to have the race decided on Saturday, June 4th. Although Hannan has received numeroua requests to row the world's championship on Picton harbour, tho event will come off on the "Wairau River.
